Seaweed
Seaweeds are particularly rich in minerals and have already been used for centuries in the Asian traditional cosmetic preparations. You are already able to see noticeable results after the first application: the wrinkles are visibly smoothed, the elasticity of the skin is strengthened and the collagen balance is renewed.
These powerful minerals naturally and rapidly promote the replenishment of the collagen loss caused by the ageing process.

Special care:
Please do a test on a small area of your skin before applying the entire mask, especially if your skin is sensitive or damaged by the sun: its high content of salt might cause irritations.
A tingling sensation upon application of the face-pack is absolutely normal and will disappear.

Papaya
The papaya enzyme, also renowned as “skin softener”, visibly reduces the depth of wrinkles if applied on a regular basis and promotes the renewal of cells.  It actively soothes and re-energizes irritated skins.
This gentle treatment containing natural ingredients such as rice, potato and papaya leaves your skin significantly softer and smoother: you are radiantly beautiful!

How to use:
Mix a heaping teaspoon of powder together with 2 teaspoons of lukewarm water until the mixture becomes thick. If your skin tends to be dry, add a teaspoon of olive oil and a teaspoon of yoghurt.

Cleanse your face with lukewarm water and apply the paste with a brush avoiding the lips and the eye contour. Leave it for 15-20 minutes until it starts to harden and carefully remove with plenty of clear, cool water, gently massaging your face with circular motions: the fresh water will help tightening your skin pores.

Sea salt from Bali

The balinese tradition of making salt from the sea is an old one. The growth of the tourism will take the necessary beach front land for this work and we are afraid, this old tradition will be lost in some years. We are on the way to buy some pieces of land at the beach to protect this old craft and the salt as well.

BOREH Bath Salts

Salt production process & steps:
BOREH bath salts are made of an absolutely unadulterated and pure sea product which is still extracted following the same age-old manual process as countless generations did before. The seawater is drawn in Bali from the Indian Ocean in the traditional way, using fan-shaped baskets and treated near a fresh water source which flows under a holy temple dedicated to the sea god: the salt is accordingly additionally “charged” with precious energy.
It is then spread for drying onto lava fields abundant with minerals so that the salt crystals, already loaded with natural elements, get even more enriched through the absorption of the lava minerals. The final drying takes place in hollowed out coconut palm trunks.

Once the drying is finalized, the unadulterated salt in its purest form is filled in plaited baskets made from palm tree leaves and ready to use. Since it is our philosophy to avoid using chemicals, you may find remainders from lava, leaves and coconut in our salts: this is a sign for the purity of our natural and harmless products.

How to use:
Dissolve 2 tablespoons bath salts mixed with essential oils in the bath water which should attain an approximate temperature of 37 degree Celsius: our skin will mostly benefit from the sea salt nutrients at this point. If you wish to increase the effect, add up another 300gr of our Natural bath salts. Then relaxe for 15-20 minutes! Please thoroughly rinse off your skin after this bath experience. You also may want to use a strainer when you drain the bath water in order to collect the salt remains.

Coral Calcium

The next natural product which we produce in our manufacture is coral calcium! It is healthy in many ways and we have lot’s of cases from people who increase their health with great results. Please, comment if you have some experiences and ask us!

Coral calcium products have great health benefits for your bodies, but does the harvesting of them harm the coral reefs that produces this nutrient packed powder?  The answer is that it actually helps the reefs – read on to find out just how your coral calcium is harvested.

Where we get coral calcium
Indonesia is the source of our coral calcium.  This mineral can be obtained either from the land or from the ocean’s floor at the foot of the coral reefs.

Indonesia’s islands have a volcanic origin.  Frequently, coral reefs associated with underwater volcanoes like these will grow sideways. They do this to cover pits which the volcanoes produced in the seabed.  Removing marine coral calcium droppings which pile up around the reefs clears a pathway for expansion and new reef growth.

The coral reefs have edges that drop off making coral sand which is used for the coral calcium products we consume.  It takes a long time to make the calcium and the pieces accumulate over a period of years. The natural movement of the waves contribute to the making of the reef. The waves help break off the pieces of the coral reef as do the fish that nibble on the reef.  This sediment falls to the ocean floor making coral sand.

No damage is done to the living coral reef during this harvesting.  They’re actually revived and brought back to life. The dredges that are used to gather marine coral by lightly suctioning the sand are known as suction dredges. The coral is actually harvested three or four miles away form the nearest reef.

The effect of coral calcium
Coral calcium products are healthy for our bodies and also for the coral reefs.  Unlike many products which are harmful to the environment, this is one renewable resource where the harvesting actually helps the source it comes from.

People all over the world are raving about the health benefits of coral calcium, but just what is this strange alternative medicine?  Here are some things about marine coral calcium you might want to know.

Marine coral calcium is a natural substance that actually comes from coral reefs.  It is the broken off pieces that are pulverized to sand and it is very rich in over 70 trace minerals.
